The Truth About Stress Reducers


You'd have to be living in a cave not to have heard about the importance of dealing with stress. Stress management is big business - and it should be - stress related illness is serious and epidemic.

There are lots of tips and techniques for stress management in the media these days.

Reader’s Digest kicked off a list of 37 stress reducers with this:

Dr. Kim says emotional stress is one of the most significant causes of all chronic health challenges because your body cannot defend itself against the damage that emotional stress quietly creates over time. Your body pays a heavy physiological price for every moment that you feel anxious, tense, frustrated, and angry.

He goes on to say that emotional stress "is not given the attention it deserves because it's difficult to come up with standardized treatments that can address every person's personal sources of anxiety and fear."

Emotional people have more to lose...and they also have more to gain.
