Childhood Abandonment Issues - Mother
Our Girl has taken to cutting up our house, everything made of wood, which is a big part of the house. She has always been destructive, from the word go, but it is spiralling in proportions.
She is seven years old now, and knows no boundaries. We are told by the psychiatrist that she is suffering from depression of abandonment, and that even quiet time is too violent a form of consequence to her actions, leaving us impotent and helpless to make her understand that it is not ok to hack up the house, ruin the belongings of others, her brothers', her mothers', and so forth.
And nothing affects her, reaches her, although she readily cries adn denies any wrong doing until we are all exhausted, then admits, at a pinch.
What to do? Is there any hope? We are at the end of our tether. With thanks. A.

I'd say yes, there is hope. It is possible that her behavior is her subconscious or spirit trying to find completion and resolution. She may have unfinished business. There are many ways to bring her issues into fruition. Did she experience some trauma or shock? Something is left undigested in her experiences, and perhaps also some grief. Can you tell me what happened to her?
with love
