The body n mind energy of your Earth Element is like an internal mother.
Her role is to:
give you sympathy and support
nurture you
provide stability during transitions
abundantly meet your needs
create inner security
understand life
This movement is part of a Chi Kung exercise for harmonizing your Earth Element (one of Five Elements of Chinese Acupuncture {Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water}).
Your Earth Element supports you with wisdom for understanding life and distributing nurturing energy to where it is needed.
This body n mind energy is called the Earth Element because it's about gathering the abundance and harvest of your experience. It is associated with late summer.
~1~ Be aware you are balancing your sympathy/empathy. Feel connected to the Mother archetype of service, devotion, and nurture. Let go of anything getting in the way of giving and receiving nurture.
~2~ Place hands palms up either side of belly button.
~3~ INHALE and move right hand above your head, palm up. Your left hand moves down next to left ribs, palm down.
~4~ EXHALE as you twist to left.
~5~ INHALE while holding the twist, feeling your spleen area expanding with energy.
~6~ EXHALE with the “WHOOO” sound while returning face forward and returning palms back to belly position. As you tone "WHOO000", feel your spleen vibrating on the LEFT SIDE LOWER RIB CAGE. Your spleen is an energy meridian that is part of your Earth Element.
~7~ Three harmonizing breaths -- Each movement is followed by 3 harmonizing breaths. The tongue is on the roof for the inhale, relaxed on floor of mouth for open mouth exhale.
